Fabric Walls!

So, I recently saw the best idea on The Nate Show. I still do not live in an apartment where I can paint the walls...so I'm thinking about trying this idea out.

What do you think?? I'm considering just doing half of a wall. I would only do the bottom portion as if I had a chair rail...I don't, but I would put a pretty strip of grosgrain ribbon in its place. I can't find an example of exactaly what I'm thinking of in my head...so I might just need to try it out!!

I love this example from Country Living

I also really like these two fabrics from Ikea.
What do y'all think?? I'm seriously considering doing it...I'll post pics if I do!!

Playing with Preppy

Can I please spend the morning professing my love for Kate Spade? All things preppy, and playful! I've already talked all about how prep is back in a big way, but look at all these fun things!! From clothes, to handbags, to jewelry, and paper...these are some of my favorites!

Norsk Home

I found this website and I am in LOVE. You'll probably see more favs in the future. I'm like 90% confident that it is Norwegian?? But I could be wrong...if anyone out there knows the language, let me know! I wish I had the story behind this space, but alas...I cannot read the accompanying words :) The pictures speak volumes...so lovely!

I never would've thought that I would like this shade of green, but I do! I love it!

These suitcases are so cute! And the striped wallpaper (below)? Swoon!

I love this chair. The color, the texture, the blanket in the foreground, the bar cart next to it. Just love!! Now, can anyone speak Norsk??

Modern Classic

The last of our trip to California. Can you guess where this is? Not too hard to figure out, but certainly not the typical view. Mid-Century Modern in all its glory...

Each of these were taken in Tomorrowland. Oh the futuristic minds of those Imagineers of yesteryear...still a modern classic today. All shot with a Mini Diana

Joshua Tree

DB and I got to go to Cali earlier this year (April to be exact...ya...I know, it took me a while to get these up) These are from Joshua Tree/29 Palms area. We drove through with my Uncle and it was the highlight of the trip for DB. He took most of these shots; I was too hot. Apparently I'm not a huge fan of the desert :)

This one (below) is my favorite!

All images were shot with a Diana Mini. More from the trip to come soon!

Elizabeth Soule

I kinda can't believe that I've never posted about Elizabeth Soule before. She's a Portland local who's gained national recognition for her beautiful prints shot with a Polaroid SX-70. If these look familiar to you; it's probably because you've spotted them in Anthropoligie. This is her newest series; Sea Life...and while I LOVE these; I must confess...my favorite series is The Little Zoo. I first discovered her at the Crafty Wonderland at The Doug Fir. Boy do I miss those...

I think this little walrus just may be my favorite! Buy prints here...seriously...they're beautiful, affordable, and you'll be supporting a local artist!
